Educators Association Arizona Real Estate Real Estate Educators

About AZREEA

In the early 1970’s, a group of Arizona real estate school owners formed the Arizona Association of Real Estate Schools (AARES). Meetings were held at the Ramada Inn on Sunland Gin Road in Casa Grande. AARES Members would have lunch, discuss real estate issues and the state examination, meet with ADRE Education Directors and strive to improve real estate education in Arizona.

Once the Real Estate Educators Association (REEA) was founded, AARES became a local chapter of this national organization operating as the Arizona Real Estate Educators Association (AZREEA).

Notably, the first National REEA Conference was held in Phoenix in 1983. At the REEA Conference, the first DREI Designations were awarded, many of them to Arizona real estate educators, including Terry Zajac, Fred Brodsky, Jim Chapman and Jim Hogan.

REEA is an excellent national organization and many of our AZREEA Members also belong to REEA. If you are a Regional or National Educator/Speaker/Trainer you should consider membership in REEA. If you are interested in learning more about REEA, visit their website at www.reea.org

AZREEA Today and in the Future

In 2004, REEA decided to disband all State Chapters and focus on becoming a truly national organization. At that time, AZREEA was the largest REEA Chapter in the United States and our Membership committed to continue as a statewide real estate education organization.

Since that time, through the dedication and hard work of our Members, AZREEA has grown and continues to thrive. It is AZREEA’s goal to keep our Members in the forefront of real estate education and set the standard for professionalism, expertise and excellence.
